SEDSH 2019 Event Details!

A 10-hour Mini-Endurance Rally

Date: November 2, 2019

Ride Time: 7:00am – 5:00pm Eastern

Location: Start/End at Kinderlou Inn, 2101 West Hill Ave, Valdosta, GA

The hotel room Group Rate Code will be sent to registered riders. The group rate is $60 + tax per night.

Event Fee: The event registration fee is $40 and covers rally flags, meeting space, and other expenses. Following in the tradition of the Long Riders Digital Scavenger Hunt, all proceeds will go to charity.*

*For the 2019 SEDSH event any proceeds will be donate to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

The total dollar amount to be donated will be announced during the awards presentation after dinner.

Dinner and Awards Saturday night will be on-site at Austin’s Cattle Company Steak House. While the rally will be providing a private space for us to enjoy dinner and the awards together, all riders and volunteers (including the Rallymaster) will pay for their own dinner. The head count given to the restaurant manager for Saturday night will include volunteers, riders, and passengers. If anyone else wants to come to dinner you must contact the Rallymaster after registration closes on October 1st. If space allows we certainly welcome anyone who wishes to join us for the after-rally dinner, story telling, and awards.

Friday night, the evening before the rally, the Rallymaster will eat dinner nearby so it would be great to have anyone on-site or in the area to come hang out! Time and location TBA. If you are not on the rider or volunteer list please contact the Rallymaster at sedigitalrally@gmail.com

Registration opens August 1st at Ride Master

BEFORE you register:

  1. When signing up, choose your email address wisely. You will receive multiple critical emails to that address in the weeks and days (maybe hours) leading up to the event!
  2. If you are new to this style of event and have not spoken with some people to gain some insight, it is strongly suggested that you do so BEFORE you sign up. Not that it is incredible difficult but because the learning curve can be steep if you walk in clueless. Just out to site-see? You’re good to go. Want to be competitive? Talk to some people.
  3. Remember, it’s just a motorcycle ride. Don’t forget to enjoy it!

Registration closes October 1st

For those who may not be familiar with the Ride Master registration process: When you click on the above link, you will be taken to the Ride Master page where you will enter your email address twice and then click the “Request” button. You will then receive an email from Ride Master with the subject “Registration Request” and a link to complete your registration and T-shirt order. You MUST follow the steps in that email and then in Ride Master in order to complete the on-line registration process.  At the end will be a link to pay via Paypal, which we prefer, or you can send a check. Your registration with SEDSH is not complete until payment is made. After you have completed this process riders will be emailed an emergency contact form to be completed and returned to the Rallymaster.

Maximum number of bikes for 2019 is 50. Registration deadline is Oct 1st and there is no on-site registration. If you decide after Oct 1st that you want to ride, contact us at sedigitalrally@gmail.com and if there are any slots available we may be able to open registration for you. Deadline for all riders cancelling without forfeiting your registration fee is October 10th.

T-shirts or other swag orders cannot be cancelled or changed after Oct 1st even if you cancel your rider at a later date.

One week prior to the event all riders will be emailed a rally packet including but not limited to GPX data, a bonus claim form, and a digital copy of a rally book containing the majority of the bonus locations. A much smaller packet of bonus information will be sent via email the evening prior to the rally. More details about the venue, bonus data, and schedule of activities are provided to registered and paid riders in the weeks prior to the event.
